Let’s go back to a time when the property game was more like a maze – a maze filled with brokers, ‘viewing fee,’ and an endless loop of frustration. You see, not too long ago, I found myself in the same shoes as you are now, desperately searching for the perfect rental property.
I vividly remember those days when I would shuffle from dalali to dalali, spending hours wandering through houses that were miles away from what I wanted. And then there was the ‘viewing fees‘ – the unexpected cash I had to fork over just to view properties. It felt like a never-ending cycle of wasted time and lost money.
But what stung was the one-month rent fee the brokers demanded. After all the hassle and frustration, they dared to ask for a cut of my hard-earned money: a one-month’s rent fee. It was enough to make my head spin and my wallet weep.
It was during one of those long walks from one property to another with a lot of dalalis involved in between that it hit me like a bolt of lightning – there had to be a better way. A million-dollar question then came into my mind…
...in a world where technology was reshaping industries left and right, why was the property hunt still stuck in the past? 🤔
That's when the seed of an idea started to sprout...
An idea that would later become the cornerstone of the Pango App 👇
I realized that there was a desperate need for an app that put the power back into the hands of tenants and property owners.
